I was given my first tarot card deck at 15 years old by my stepmother and I began to learn the cards and how to do my own readings for fun. As a child, this was difficult to manage and made me different from the other children. However, I was blessed that my mother included me on her own spiritual journey taking me to sacred women’s circles, alternative healers, sweat lodges, and drum circles, where I was introduced to the idea that there is more than the physical realm to guide us through life.As a young woman, I read up on astrology, crystals, chakras, energy healing, and essential oils.
